About this flooring
What is it?
Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) is a hard-wearing vinyl flooring made in planks or tiles. High-quality prints and embossed surfaces give a convincing wood or stone look — herringbone, chevron and straight plank layouts are all common. We fully glue it down for a solid, long-lasting finish.
What it's made of
LVT is built in layers: a rigid core, a printed design layer, and a tough wear layer on top. Most products we fit are PVC-based vinyl with a polyurethane or similar protective coating. Planks are typically 2–5 mm thick and designed for full-bond adhesive installation.
Why it's a good choice
It handles busy homes and looks the part. Waterproof when fitted properly, warmer underfoot than ceramic tile, and far more practical than real wood in kitchens and hallways. Herringbone and custom borders give a high-end finish without the upkeep of timber.
