About this flooring

What is it?

Safety and wet room flooring is slip-resistant vinyl designed for areas that get wet — bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, kitchens and clinical spaces. It is fully adhered, often coved up walls, and specified to meet safety standards.

What it's made of

PVC vinyl with a raised profile or emery particles in the wear layer for grip. Products are rated for slip resistance (R ratings in wet conditions). Installed with compatible adhesives and heat-welded or sealed seams.

Why it's a good choice

Wet areas need more than a standard plank. Safety vinyl reduces slip risk when floors are wet, and coved finishes stop water running under skirting boards. It is the practical choice where hygiene and grip matter.

Ideal for

  • Bathrooms and wet rooms
  • Shower areas and changing rooms
  • Commercial kitchens
  • Care homes and healthcare
  • Anywhere slip risk matters when wet

Key benefits

Slip resistance

Textured surfaces rated for wet conditions — important in showers, bathrooms and commercial kitchens.

Fully waterproof

Correctly installed with coved details and sealed joints, water stays on the surface.

Hygienic

No grout lines like tile. Easy to mop down in bathrooms, wet rooms and care settings.

Coved upstands

We form the vinyl up the wall for a seamless, cleanable junction — no dirt trap at the skirting line.
